HUB (formerly Kaye Insurance Associates)

Laub Group of Florida was acquired by Kaye Insurance Associates in October 1998 and was part of the Kaye Group (Nasdaq: KAYE) for 14 months, until December 31, 1999.

At that time, the founders, Susan Straker and Robert Virtue negotiated a management buy-back from Kaye, retaining use of Kaye's back-office facilities (accounting, invoicing) until mid-2001, when Laub's own systems were set up.

Laub maintains a very cordial relationship with Kaye, which has recently been acquired by HUB, a Canadian corporation.
