SUSAN STRAKER

Susan Straker is Founder and President of Laub Group of Florida.

Born in Ft. Lauderdale, she graduated with honors from the University of Florida, where she was a Blue Key. She also holds a Masters Degree from Florida Atlantic University
.
She worked overseas with LeBlanc et de Nicolay (now AON, Paris) and later founded Assistance International Management, a Paris-based consulting firm specializing in providing consulting services to companies operating in banking and insurance and other financial services institutions.

She returned to Florida in late 1996 and founded Laub Group of Florida shortly thereafter.

ROBERT VIRTUE

Bob Virtue, a Wisconsin native, is co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Laub Group of Florida.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (BS), and INSEAD-Fountainbleau- France (AMBA-Finance); Bob has over 25 years experience in the domestic and international insurance and reinsurance markets.

He was President and CEO of two European-based reinsurance companies including Lafayette Reinsurance, moving to Bermuda in the mid-'90's to be President of IRMG, a Swiss Re company, and a captive management conglomerate with approximately 400 captive domiciles throughout the world.

JOHN E. TRAVER

John is Senior Underwriter and Program Development Manager.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, John has 21 years in a wide range of insurance markets. John has worked as: an Actuarial Analyst; Manager of a Commercial Lines Underwriting Unit for a large E&S corporation; Executive Vice-President of a wholesale Insurance Agency writing business in excess of $35 million with offices in 3 states.

In 1998 John co-founded an Electronic Claims Payment Corporation, now valued at over $200 million, handling such high-profile clients as: Amica, Bank of America, ADP and Citicorp.
